HBL_012_Image_PrintReady_HorseshoeFalls7_1000Two exciting new attractions have set sail in Niagara.  Just in time for the Victoria Day holiday weekend which marks the unofficial start of Niagara’s summer season, The Outlet Collection at Niagara and Hornblower Niagara Cruises opened their doors to business.

Both projects came to fruition early this morning after many months of preparation amid great excitement and anticipation.

A short drive from the Falls Avenue Resort, The Outlet Collection at Niagara is Canada’s largest open air concept retail centre.  The collection concept features more than 100 brand name fashion and lifestyle outlets including Michael Kors, J.Crew, Coach, Nike Factory Outlet, Brooks Brothers and Tommy Hilfiger to name a few.  A second wave of openings is planned for a later date that will include Bass Pro Shop, Kate Spade and many others.  The open air environment also features a dedicated farmer’s market pavilion that will showcase Niagara’s rich landscape and tender fruitland.

Directly at Niagara Falls, Hornblower Niagara Cruises embarked on the inaugural voyage of Canada’s only Falls boat tour.

Located across from the Falls Avenue Resort, the new attraction offers innovative options for viewing the majestic Falls up close.  Four new tour options are available including Voyage to the Falls, Sunset Cocktail Cruise, Falls Fireworks Cruise and Falls Illumination Cruise.  Hornblower Niagara Cruises features two catamaran style boats: Niagara Wonder and Niagara Thunder.  In addition to new boats, new technology will allow guests to download a 30 minute narrated journey of their tour prior to departing.

Niagara’s newest attractions join a long list of experiences that draw visitors to Niagara time and time again, and we’re excited to welcome them to the neighbourhood!
