If you’re looking for a few ways to enjoy the sunshine in Niagara Falls this summer take a look at this brief list of just some of the awesome outdoor activities and attractions available in Niagara Falls and the surrounding Niagara Region.

Wine tours – The Niagara Region is known around the world for two things: the waterfalls of Niagara Falls and our wineries. Just a short drive, or bike ride away, visitors staying in Niagara Falls can find dozens of world class wineries dotting the rural landscape of Niagara. Most wineries offer multiple daily tours, showing off their picturesque vineyards and impressive winemaking processes.

Biking and hiking trails – Niagara Falls is home to hundreds of acres of parks, forests and green space to explore. Be it by bike or foot you can take a leisurely travel down the Niagara Parkway, walk through the beautiful Dufferin Islands, hike alongside the white water rapids of the Niagara River or head deeper into Niagara to discover what else the region has to offer for the outdoor oriented.

Niagara Falls Fireworks – The longest running fireworks display in Canada takes place every Friday and Sunday evening over the Horseshoe Falls. After a day spent outside you can relax in the evening under the beautiful colours and sounds of this massive fireworks display.
