The city will be lively throughout the day with tons of events and of course fireworks for everyone to enjoy at night. Here are our top five events to check out this upcoming Canada Day!

Niagara Falls Canada Day Fireworks: A yearly tradition put on by the community of Niagara Falls, the fireworks are fired from the bottom of the Niagara Gorge. Overlooking the falls, this beautiful view lights up the sky and falls as you watch from below. Get there early to get a good spot!

Niagara Falls Canada Day Celebrations: This yearly celebration is jam packed with events for the entire family to enjoy. Start the morning with a Canada Day Parade in downtown Niagara Falls that will lead you to the main stage at City Hall. At the main stage you can find Greg Frewin performing his magical illusions, live music, an awards ceremony and cake! With activities for the kids including rock climbing, an inflatable area and entertainment, the whole family will be enjoying themselves in no time.

Canada Day at Fort George: Take a trip through time and check out this free event at historic Fort George. The day will be filled with music, food, fireworks, cannon firings and heritage displays. The day portion will include music, muskets and artillery demonstrations and the evening brings a BBQ dinner, music, cake and fireworks.

Canada Day at Inniskillin: The winery will be hosting its fifth annual Canada Day celebrations at its vineyard during the upcoming holiday. The Piazza will feature a casual picnic, Market Grill food, a BBQ and of course live music. Enjoy a glass of Inniskillin’s favourite wines with your meal as you relax into the evening where fireworks will occur over the vineyard.

Friendship Festival: Celebrate Canada Day this year by embracing the friendships that surround us. This event in its 27th year will not disappoint with live shows, vendors, food and all sorts of entertainment. Grab a blanket and sit down and enjoy the fireworks after your day at the festival.
