2. Winter Festival of LightsWinter Festival of Lights

The Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights is one of the most beloved holiday events in the city. The family-friendly event lights up Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands, and a 8 kilometre stretch of the Niagara Parkway that runs alongside the mighty Niagara Falls and Niagara River.  You will find over 3 million lights intertwined on trees and twisted into creative displays. This is known to be one of the best Niagara Falls attractions, so it’s a can’t miss!   This event is free for everyone. Bundle up, get down to the Queen Victoria Park from November 16th to January 12th, and take in the sights of this truly incredible winter wonderland. Plus, enjoy a grand fireworks display on select nights during the festival.

3. Visit the Falls

There’s never a bad time to visit the falls. January through spring , the falls will be covered in winter’s snow creating a truly breathtaking scene that you simply won’t find in the summer.
