complex-smaller-for-jeffIf you’re coming to Niagara Falls and looking for a few quick suggestions for what to do with your family in one of the most exciting tourist destinations in the world, consider visiting Canada’s Largest Entertainment Resort – Falls Avenue Resort and take in the following activities.

If you’re looking to stay close to all of the action, consider the Sheraton Fallsview, Crowne Plaza, Skyline Inn or Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls, which are all located directly in the centre of it all in Niagara Falls.

Start the morning by grabbing a delicious breakfast at the Perkins Restaurant, located in the Falls Avenue Resort and then take a walk to the Table Rock Welcome Centre and check out the falls up close. After seeing the falls, cool off indoors and visit the Iwerks 4D Moving Theatre that is currently featuring “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” and “Happy Feet 4-D Experience”.

After the movie, check out the nearby Rainforest Café for lunch and wave at Smiley the shark in the front aquarium. Be sure to stay for the indoor thunderstorm as well, don’t worry, you won’t get wet!

When you’re finished lunch take a walk to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and jump into three acres of fun. The waterpark has 16 water slides, a massive wave pool, adult hot springs, an outdoor patio and pool and the Planet Hollywood Beach Club.

Dry off and take a trip to the top of the Falls Avenue Resort on the Pink Panther Ride, this hot air balloon themed ride gives you a view of Niagara Falls from a different angle. High above Falls Avenue and Clifton Hill, the Pink Panther Ride spins you up for a view of a lifetime.

Once dinner time comes around, head to the Hard Rock Café for a tex-mex inspired menu. The restaurant features rare music memorabilia from acts ranging from Elton John to Lenny Kravitz to the Beatles and the rock n’roll atmosphere is fun for all ages.

After dinner, walk through the Adventure City and play a few games before heading to watch the evening fireworks over the falls. You can watch them from almost anywhere but Windows by Jamie Kennedy on the 14th floor of the Sheraton Fallsview offers an amazing view. Consider a late night dessert at the restaurant and watch the fireworks in luxury before heading back to your hotel room for a restful sleep.
